YSN Sponsorship Policy

The YSN has various sponsorship opportunities available throughout the year for those interested. Typically, sponsorship opportunities would include (but are not limited to): venue hire for events, catering and refreshments, keynote speakers, the YSN Member of the Year Award, and prizes. They are a great opportunity to support young people in the self storage industry with their professional development, whilst also promoting your brand.

The purpose of the Sponsorship Policy is to establish guidelines for managing sponsorship so that it is done on a fair and equal basis, allowing all SSA UK supplier members the opportunity to support YSN events.
 

• Sponsorship opportunities will be communicated to and open to all SSA UK supplier members on the SSA UK Supplier Mailing List via email mailshot.
   
• YSN operator members will also be free to sponsor events should they wish.
   
• The employers or businesses of YSN board members will be free to sponsor events any time after 1 week of a sponsorship mailshot being sent out since they may have prior knowledge of when such mailshots will be sent out.
   
• Sponsorship (be it suppliers or operators) will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

• The SSA UK or YSN may also use social media/WhatsApp and/or the SSA UK website to further promote any opportunities.
   
• Subject to the level of interest, opportunities may be limited to 1-2 per supplier (or operator) per year to ensure there is a good opportunity for a selection of suppliers to be involved.
   
• The SSA UK/YSN reserves the right to terminate a sponsorship agreement if the sponsor engages in activities detrimental to the YSN or the SSA UK’s reputation or contradict its values. Termination will be enacted through written notice and will become effective immediately upon delivery.
