With regular CEO Update Webinars, quarterly Members' Networking Events and Business Lunches, annual events such as the UK Conference or the European FEDESSA Conference & Trade Show, training sessions, complimentary Hot Topic Webinars and Sector Forums, there is plenty happening throughout the year.
Most events are member exclusive and many are complimentary too.
CEO Update Webinars
Rennie Schafer, CEO of the SSA UK hosts a monthly members only complimentary webinar at midday on the first Thursday each month via Zoom. Register for these regular and informative sessions for the latest industry and member updates.
Members' Networking Events
Members' Networking Events are held throughout the year across the length and breadth of the UK and give both operators and suppliers the opportunity to meet and network in a relaxed and casual environment over dinner and drinks.
Training for Members
Our regular training sessions are designed specifically for those working in self storage including staff and managers. Held throughout the year on topics that matter the most to your business, they are led by industry-experienced professionals and are either delivered online via Zoom or in a live workshop environment.
Hot Topic Webinars
Regular topical webinars are delivered via Zoom on a complimentary basis to members. Recent topics have included; Crime Prevention, Cyber Security, Auctions & Clearance, Understanding and Selling Customer Insurance, and Sustainable Self Storage.
Sector Forums
Sector Forums provide an opportunity for members to network, share best practice, discuss the challenges, trends, opportunities and the latest news during the UK Legal, Security, External Storage, Women in Business, Suppliers, Digital and Technology & Innovation meetings.
Annual FEDESSA Conference & Trade Show
The FEDESSA Conference & Trade Show is typically held around September - October time yearly. With our usual two full days of informative topics this is a not to be missed event with the the largest trade show outside of the USA.
Annual SSA UK Conference
The SSA UK Conference is usually held around April - May yearly. The conference includes a Trade Show and an on-site Storage Park. We also launch a UK Annual Industry Report and announce the winners of the annual UK Industry Awards during the evening dinner.
Winter Workshop
The annual Winter Workshop consists of two days of business speakers and networking with some fantastic skiing during the day. The Workshop is usually held in February annually.
