Our T&Cs are straightforward and cover the membership year, the application process, fees and payment, renewals and benefits.
The SSA UK membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March.
Applications for membership are completed using the respective application form dependent on the membership type. Note: All operator members join the association as provisional members. Full Operator membership is subject to your company and facilities meeting the SSA UK Membership Standard which includes a site-visit from a member of the SSA staff to confirm you meet the criteria.
The annual membership fee for Provisional Operators and Suppliers is £700 + VAT (£840 inc. VAT). However, for smaller operators we do offer a discounted annual membership. The annual fee is due on joining but if you join part way through the year, your annual subscription will be pro rata in your second year of membership. Fees are subject to revision from 1 April annually.
Membership renewal and payment
Membership renewal invoices are issued 30 days prior to the membership renewal date. Payments are made in advance of the forthcoming membership year and may be made by credit card (excludes AMEX) or bank transfer. Invoices not paid by the due date may result in the withdrawal of membership benefits.
Termination of membership
Membership will automatically lapse if payment is not received within one month of the membership due date. For full and supplier members, use of the SSA UK logo must cease from the date of termination.
Cancellation of membership
Should you wish to cancel your membership of the SSA UK during the membership year, please note fees are non-refundable.
Use of membership benefits
Member benefits may only be used by the member company and must not be shared with other companies under any circumstances.
It is a condition of your membership that your company agrees to being contacted by the SSA UK for the purposes of keeping you informed and for your details to published in the members only section of the website.
