Criminal activity
Crime in self storage is still on the rise and becoming increasingly harder to detect than ever before. As deterrents become more effective, criminals evolve their methods. Rennie will provide an update on some of the recent break-ins, how they occurred, and what you can do to give yourself the best chance of stopping them from targeting your store.
Shurgard purchase Lok'nStore
Earlier in the month European self storage giants Shurgard agreed to purchase Lok'nStore for a reported fee of 378 million pounds. Rennie will be joined by Ollie Saunders from the real estate firm and new supplier member Savills, who will be discussing the sale and how this impacts the market generally.
As always, there will also be the opportunity for attendees to ask any questions and to provide any input.
