Sector Forum Technology & Innovation will now take place on TUESDAY 6 JUNE 2023.
Chaired by Rennie Schafer, these meetings are designed to evaluate and discuss any new and emerging technologies and will provide a working group for our suppliers to discuss and test new technology too.
We will also look outside the industry to technology that could impact self storage and of course, there will be opportunities during these meetings for you to share your own experiences in the use of current technology as well as adopting new technology.
These complimentary to attend meetings will be held 2-3 times per year and are open to all SSA UK and FEDESSA members. Currently, all meetings will be held online via Zoom.
The next meeting on 6 June, chaired by Rennie Schafer, will cover the following topics:
- How does artificial intelligence work for self storage operators? Exploring how AI is being used in business and self storage specifically. From chatbots to pricing, what can learning machines do for self storage?
- Why technology in self storage must benefit both operators and customers to succeed. An interactive discussion about the successful adoption of technology in other industries and how self storage can learn from this.
